Abstract: The American Institute for Free Labor Development (AIFLD) project strengthens democratic labor unions in El Salvador through services provided by the National Union of Workers and Peasants (UNOC) and other democratic unions. This mid-term evaluation assumes a two year project extension and was carried out through the collection of data from AIFLD records, AIFLD personnel, project participants, and knowledgeable observers.
