At his home in Virginia, Richard Oulahan interviews Zoila Trujillo de los Santos, a doctor of internal medicine with specialties in geriatrics and neurology. She talks about her parents’ history and work in indigenous boarding schools, coffee production in Mexico, and indigenous groups of the area. They discuss the Cristero War of the 1920s, Zapatista uprising, drug trafficking, the socioeconomic divisions in Mexico, and former president Vicente Fox.
