Abstract
In this paper, I will present an overview and analysis of a select number of Korean noun particles. These particles have been selected due to the role they play in three Korean sentence constructions: the double subject/double object construction, the dative double object construction, and the subject/topic construction. In each of these constructions, a noun phrase that would be normally marked with a particular particle is instead marked with another particle. My analysis of these noun particles and the constructions they playa role in may be useful in examining other languages with similar particle systems, such as Japanese.
