Abstract
An exploration into how fantastic literature as a literary genre prioritizes its interactions with the reader and immerses the reader into a fantastic setting that resides in a hybrid space between reality and fiction. The work focuses on La invención de Morel by Adolfo Bioy Casares and y Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius by Jorge Luis Borges and how the texts anticipate immersive technologies like virtual and artificial reality.
